This project was born in 2020, from the post-lockdown walks through the empty streets of Girona. Everything had changed; my hometown was lonely. However, at the same time, it had never stood out more to me. I then began to take lots of pictures on my phone, trying to capture this new-found desolation, and posted them on Instagram under the name From Girona With Love.

Colour and composition are two of the main aspects I like to use to create this narrative through my pictures. Every new post is accompanied by a song recommendation, therefore encapsulating two of my main interests: music and visual arts.
