Oriol Viu i Duran

My name is Oriol and I’m currently doing an internship in Belfast while pursuing a Master’s in Game Design in Sweden. I have also worked on different personal projects under the name North Oriole - ranging from solo games, to academic group work, to game jams.

I have a special love for games; some of my fondest memories are watching my older sister play The Sims 2, spending my summers in front of the Wii, or bringing my PSP with me everywhere. Now, making games myself allows me to combine my technical background with a desire for meaningful interactive storytelling.

I’m creative, open, analytical, detail-oriented, and versatile. Aside from games, I also enjoy running, splurging on records, going to the cinema, taking part in pub quizzes, visiting botanic gardens, and quoting The Simpsons any time I see fit.
